ホンダＮシリーズはその開発直後より国内はもとより、
ヨーロッパ及び米国を中心とした世界へ向けての販売
を考えていた。これは昭和42年にヨーロッパで開催さ
れた自動車ショーで『N５００（試作車）』を出品した際に
配布されたチラシである。
2色刷りの1枚もので発行年月日は昭和42年2月で
日本国内で製作された。（この時期はまだ『N360』自
体も国内では正式（?）には発売を開始していない…!!
当時のホンダが既にNシリーズを世界的戦略車として
考えていたことがうかがえる）
このチラシに記載されているスペックを見るとこのＮは
後に発売される『N６００』のエンジンをベースとした車
では無く、『N３６０』のエンジンのボアを最大限に拡大
したタイプであることがわかる。
性能は最高出力40PS/7300rpm、最大トルク4.3kg-m
/5000rpm、最高速度130km/h、0-400m加速19.5秒と
の表示がある。
『N360』のエンジンをベースに500ccでは耐久性等に
無理があったために結局は発売されずに終わった。
（但し、同様の手法で『N400』として発売された。）
結局、輸出仕様車の主力は新設計のエンジンを持った
『N600』であった。
尚、このチラシのサイズは縦21cm、横29.9cm。
HONDA N series thought sales toward the world
which moved Europe and United States from the
place to the center right after that development
about the country. This is the handbill distributed
when N500(concept car) is sent at the motor show
held in Europe in 1967. An issue date was made
by 1 sheet of 2 color painting in japan at February,
1967.('N360' itself hasn't started sale formally in
Japan since this time yet, either.It can peep at
HONDA in those days already having thought about
N series as a worldwide strategic car.
When the specifications mentioned in this handbill
are seen, this N is not the car which made the
engine of 'N600' put on the market in the rest a base.
It is the type that bore of the engine of 'N360' was
expanded to the full.
Performance is the best output 40PS/7300rpm,
a maxmum torque 4.3kg-m/5000rpm, top speed
130km/h and 0-400m acceleration 19.5 seconds.
Because a problem occurred in the durability and so
on, it wasn't put on the market by remodeling the
engine of 'N360' into the base to 500cc after all.
(But, the same technique was used and put on the
market as 'N400'.)
After all, the main force for the car was 'N600' which
had the engine of the new design.
And, the size of this handbill is vertical 21cm, side
29.9cm.
